SMS.ac Pay-Per-View System Helps Film Maker Christopher Riecken Gain More Than Just Exposure
San Diego, CA (PRWeb) January 31, 2007 -- Independent Filmmaker and film festival award winner Christopher Riecken of Harrington Park, New Jersey has started generating revenue by uploading his short films on SMS.ac.
Grandson of the Chief Photographer of the New York Daily News (http://www.nydailynews.com/) (1950-1970) and great-grandson of a talented inventor, Riecken combines his inherited skills into his work as a visual creator. As a teenager, Riecken had his first taste of the spotlight when a short comedy of his was aired on "America's Funniest Home Videos."
Currently, Riecken continues to work on great comedies, but has also matured to more edgy films which his fans describe as, "the work of an exceptionally bizarre genius." His latest short film "The Past" won two William Paterson University Film Festival Awards, including the Audience Choice Award. In "The Past," Riecken displays his great talent for insight and foreshadowing.
He tells the story of a man whose soul mate has left him, but discovers there is more to it than his mind tells him with an ending that shocks viewers.
Riecken's short films are being streamed online around the world using a pay-per-view system developed by the San Diego based company, SMS.ac.
SMS.ac's unique system uses a pay-per-view model that streams videos online to its 50 million member base of film & video enthusiasts. Streaming movies and streaming videos online allows Christopher to generate revenue and exposure to SMS.ac's worldwide audience.
"I think it's wonderful that SMS.ac is finally giving me and other filmmakers a chance, not only to create exposure, but to also generate revenue as well. I am thrilled to be a part of this exciting opportunity.
I'll never upload my work to another site again!" says Riecken.
Other aspiring Video producers can upload their own videos and begin earning revenue from their creative work by visiting the Mobile Streaming Video page on the SMS.ac site.
